Max & Kaitlyn’s Chic Chicago Wedding with Elegant Floral Rentals
Max and Kaitlyn’s wedding at The Fairlie was the perfect blend of modern romance and intentional design. With timeless fashion choices, candlelit industrial spaces, and elegant floral details, every part of their wedding felt elevated without ever feeling overdone. From the emotional ceremony to the smoke bomb portraits through the city, their celebration was stylish, personal, and full of unforgettable moments.
Located in Chicago’s West Loop, The Fairlie is known for its exposed brick, steel beams, and moody industrial character.
Max and Kaitlyn embraced its architecture and layered in romantic details that complemented the space perfectly. The result was a wedding that felt warm and modern.

One of the standout design elements of the day was the attire of the bride and bridal party. Kaitlyn wore a classic gown from Jenny Yoo that perfectly matched the sleek, editorial feel of the wedding. Her bridal look was completed by The Bridal Beauty Team, who created soft glam styling that felt polished while still natural in photos.
The wedding party attire tied the entire color palette together beautifully. Bridesmaids wore black dresses in individually selected styles, giving the bridal party a cohesive but modern look. Meanwhile, the groom wore a plum tuxedo while the groomsmen wore rose tuxedos from The Black Tux. The combination of darker tones and rich color created a romantic atmosphere that worked perfectly against the industrial backdrop of the venue.
Of course, one of our favorite parts of the wedding was the flowers!
For Max and Kaitlyn, we created wedding flower rentals that added softness and texture throughout the space while still maintaining the elevated feel of the day. The floral designs complemented the darker tones of the wedding party attire and brought warmth into the venue without competing with the architecture. The couple chose the Odessa Collection, using the bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, and boutonnieres for their bridal party, and a sign swag and garland to decorate the sweetheart table.

Max and Kaitlyn also included some incredibly fun personal touches that made the wedding feel uniquely theirs. One of the sweetest details was having their dog included in the celebration with the help of Paw My Love. Including pets in weddings always adds such a personal element, and some of the most memorable photos from the day came from those moments.
Later in the evening, the couple incorporated smoke bombs into their portraits around the city, creating dramatic and artistic photos that fit the modern feel of the wedding perfectly. Those images added such a fun energy to the gallery and captured the personality of the day so well.
Another detail we loved was the lounge seating area from Bowery & Bash, which created a welcoming space for guests to relax throughout the evening. Combined with the candlelit reception and layered floral details, it helped transform the industrial venue into a space that felt intimate and inviting.
Guests also enjoyed catering from Maison Cuisine (eco-concious, which we love!) along with late-night bites from The Fat Shallot, which was the perfect ending to an unforgettable evening.
